Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some commonly asked questions we encounter. If you can’t find the answer to your question, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email.

Low water pressure can be caused by various issues, including clogged pipes, a malfunctioning pressure regulator, or problems with the water supply. Check to see if the low pressure is affecting just one component of the home or multiple.

We recommend turning off all water appliances, check your water meter numbers, wait 30 minutes, and check again. If your water meter is still ticking over, then check all taps for leaks, outside hoses, toilets, and showers.

This is a serious concern and should be treated carefully. Firstly, turn off your gas supply (either at the LPG bottles or at the gas meter). Ensure no naked flames are open. Avoid the suspected area and get in touch with us on 09 579 5607.

There can be multiple issues relating to hot water cylinders causing lack of hot water. Intermittent tempering valve failure, element deterioration, or pressure valve failures to name a few. Or it could be that your hot water cylinder isn’t big enough to supply your whole household and you may need an upgrade.

Leaking pipes can result from various factors, including corrosion, high water pressure, or temperature fluctuations. Regular maintenance and inspections can help catch these problems early. If you notice any signs of leaks, it’s essential to address them promptly to prevent further damage.
